Female participation challenges at tertiary institutions in Masvingo

The main purpose of the study was to determine factors affecting full female participation in collegiate games in Masvingo tertiary institutions. The book focuses on cultural issues like socialization, stereotypes, religion and sexism as some of the factors hindering full female participation. Age was also seen as a contributor as well as physiological make up of females. Motherhood and family responsibilities played a key role in female participation at tertiary institutions. The study recommended that government should take huge steps and come up with policies that will go with full sponsorship so as to encourage female participation. Those in charge of sports will benefit from taking a leaf from what happens in other tertiary institutions. The book will also increase reading material to those keen in sports
