FAMILIAL MEDITERRANEAN FEVER

FMF is a hereditary disease with pediatric onset and chronic systemic symptomatology, the diagnostic wandering of these patients between several specialists was clearly found in our patients. Algeria is a Mediterranean country and a country where consanguinity is very widespread, reaching 38% in some regions. This manual is a review of recent bibliography with some real clinical cases illustrated is intended for: externs, medical interns, general practitioners and even specialists (pediatrician, internal medicine, surgeons ...) and aims to make this disease known to the medical and paramedical profession. In conclusion, I would like to dedicate this book to all my colleagues, residents and doctoral students who work with patients with chronic disease.To my colleagues around the world who are involved in the fascinating field of autoinflammatory diseases, including FMF.
