Fair Trade as a welfare opportunity in East Africa?

The undeniable and historical gap in development between the countries of the North and the South, in general, and of the East African Community in particular, were the driving causes of the rebirth of a new way of thinking and acting ethically which is "Fair Trade" in the commercial field in favor of the peoples of the countries of this economically disadvantaged part of the Earth. Fair Trade is therefore perceived as a better solution to the multiple problems that the peoples of the South and those of the East African Community suffer. However, these people are still disadvantaged with regard to the concrete implementation of the principles of Fair Trade. What then is the realized morality of Northern actors and East African producers concerned about and wishing to fully embrace a better life? What are the possible and achievable challenges and hopes? Let the North and the South reflect again and together on the salutary ethics to adopt by tomorrow for themselves and for future generations.
