Factors that influence Professional Choice

This research brings as a fundamental approach the issue of vocational and professional orientation and is based on the following objectives: General objective - To discuss the professional choice of employees in Maxixe District Public Institutions. Specific objectives - To identify the factors that influence the professional choice of employees in Maxixe District Public Institutions and to contribute to the awareness of the importance of vocational and professional orientation. The orientation of this research is based on understanding which factors determine the choice of a profession? Based on the questions, the following assumptions were made: The professional choice of employees in Maxixe district is influenced by parents or guardians; The professional choice of employees in Maxixe district is influenced by vocational and career guidance. Based on the survey it was found that the majority of the surveyed employees were influenced by their parents in their choice of occupation and never benefited from vocational and career guidance.
