Factors influencing growth of informal transport sector-bodabodas

The book was to establish the factors influencing group of informal transport sector,with reference to Bodaboda service provision in Embu county, Kenya.The objectives were to establish how unemployment,cost of acquisition,versatility of bodaboda and ease of operation of bodaboda influence growth of informal transport sector which is growing at a faster rate making significant contribution to conduct economic and social activities which includes, providing services in circumstances where other means of transport are unavailable, keeping the youth engaged in some form of income generating activity. The services are so successful among users because of the availability and ability to satisfy demand for short door to door trips
