Here we report, the first direct synthesis of ¿-CD/gypsum (¿.Ca-H), highly ordered functional material, simply by using ¿-Cyclodextrin and calcium sulfate. The hybrid material is distinctively aligned which reveals a drastic change in chemo-physical properties. Optical switching of a Multi Responsive Solvatofluorochromic Dye and Dye/¿-CD Inclusion Complex were also investigated. Dye/¿-CD inclusion complex molecular rearrangements by isomerozation transformations were also observed and investigated in detail.
