Chelating resin have been used commercially on worldwide basis for almost a century due to diverse applications in many fields such as water softening and deionization, sugar purification, extraction of uranium, isolation and purification of antibiotics, in hydrometallurgical separation, waste water treatment and pollution control area. The rapid development of electronic instrumentation has created powerful analytical tools but it can give erroneous result due to the presence of matrix elements.
