Experimental Crop Physiology

Experimental crop physiology deals with scientific investigation of germination, growth, morphological, physiological and biochemical response of various field crops under varying climatic and edaphic factors. In this edition Author described about field crops physiological response as 5 different chapters. Chapter-1, provided with scientific investigation of physiological response of Cajanus cajan under varying concentrations of micro nutrients. Chapter-2, deals with the scientific findings of climatic and edaphic factors variations impact on Cajanus cajan. Chapter-3, deals with germination and seedling growth response of Amaranthus and Sesame at varying chromium concentrations. Chapter-4, presented with different field crops response against microwave irradiation. The microwave irradiated Okra, Green gram and Cowpea seeds response discussed very well in this chapter. Chapter-5, described with great information on UV light positive response and enhanced growth and improved biochemical parameters of bengal gram treated with UV-A and B. The negative impact of UV light on horse gram also discussed in this chapter which may help for plant science and agricultural researchers.
