EU RELATIONS WITH MACEDONIA

This book examines the relations between European Union and the region of western Balkans with special accent on the Republic of Macedonia that is current a candidate country for EU membership. We are trying to give an overview of the recent history of the western Balkans and the EU involvement in it, as well as their current relations. The story of EU becoming an independent and global actor in foreign policy is a story of the ways of EU dealing with the problems within its own yard ¿ western Balkans. The analysis should put some lights on the EU-western Balkan relations, the reasons behind and the possible future development. The book will be helpful for young researchers in the international relations filed especially interest in the Balkan area states.
