Analytical method development for estimation of Clotrimazole(CT) and Beclomethasone dipropionate(BD) in pharmaceutical formulation. The combination of CT and BD is use as antifungal and anti-inflammatory. This combination is available as topical cream and lotion form. CT and BD both are official in IP, BP and USP but their combination is not official in any pharmacopoeia; hence no official method is available for the estimation of these two drugs in combined dosage forms. The objective of work is to develop and validate Spectrophotometric methods,RP-HPLC and HPTLC for simultaneous estimation of clotrimazole and beclomethasone dipropionate in pharmaceutical dosage form (lotion, cream).
