Establishment of an archive management policy and procedures

The Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) is faced with managing a large volume of documents accumulated since its creation. However, since 2017, it has launched an ambitious reform program to bring itself up to the standards of multilateral development banks. Spearheaded by the Bank's Senior Management, this program covers all compartments of the Institution's operations, ranging from governance to banking risk management policies, archiving policy and procedure, etc.Aware of the role that archives play in the performance and smooth day-to-day running of a business, a major archiving project and the implementation of an archiving policy and procedures are underway. The aim of this project is to optimize the Bank's services and to manage the mass of documents produced or received in the course of its activities.
