ESOPHAGOPLASTY IN CHILDREN

This book is the result of our own experience in the field of esophageal replacement in children and of an extensive literature search which has allowed us to study, analyze and report on what is being done around the world. This book is essentially intended for residents and young surgeons, because, on the one hand, the teaching of the different esophagoplasty techniques is limited during the residency course, and on the other hand, this technique is only performed in a few specialized departments throughout the country. For this reason, we have carried out this work in order to initiate our future and young surgeons to the different techniques of esophagectomy and esophageal replacement, while trying to simplify this technique.
