Epidemiological and clinical profile of breast cancer

Breast cancer remains the leading cause of female cancer death in the developed country and the second leading cause in the DRC after cervical cancer.The objectives of this work were:¿ Determine the frequency of breast cancer cases from 2012 to 2017;¿ Identify the socio-demographic characteristics of the patients in our series;¿ Determine the risk factors of the patients concerned by the study;¿ Identify the clinical profile of patients who consulted for breast cancer in our study setting;¿ Evaluate the management of breast cancer cases in our series.To achieve this, we conducted a descriptive study using the retrospective approach covering the period from January 01, 2012 to December 31, 2017 in the gyneco-obstetrics department of this hospital. Out of 17,586 files, we retained only 30 cases as a sample based on our inclusion criteria.
