Environmental Engineering Management: Basic Concepts and Fundamentals

Global warming Ozone depletion due to the use of various pollutants, increasing environmental pollution and extinction of species all come together to make the need for ecology and environmental issues predictable for the future. As the gray front over the green world of the future, is the most significant issue of the present century. Meanwhile, development as one of the biggest factors of environmental change and consequently construction, which is one of the major industries in the employment of manpower (hundreds of thousands of construction workers and related techniques), causes the destruction of agricultural land, soil erosion and pollution. It harms the environment and endangers the health of the people and fuels the energy crisis. The crisis, which in the mid-1965s became a warning to the world with the increase in environmental pollution, led to the formation of pro-environmental groups that advocated for the environment in the world and pursued a broad concept called sustainability. The research process of this discourse has started from summarizing the definitions and has expanded with various principles, foundations and theories about sustainable design.
