Environmental Education as a Pedagogical Strategy

This book, entitled "Environmental Education as a Pedagogical Strategy for the Solution of Environmental Problems in Colombia", is a fundamental contribution to society as a whole, which aims to educate and create awareness in all human beings about their environment, being responsible for its use and maintenance. Environmental education should be given to an infinite number of sectors and using a wide variety of didactic resources. It should be based on a change in the knowledge and behaviour of the members of society in their relationship with the environment, which should generate a new awareness that provokes a daily action of environmental protection that leads to changes in attitude and aptitude, in order to achieve a balance between man and his environment. Environmental education requires the support of all sciences and disciplines to solve environmental problems and the active participation of a wide range of people and institutions.
