Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the 132 kV Power Project in Bensa Daye, Ethiopia

Project Report in the subject Energy Sciences, , language: English, abstract: Bensa Daye 132kV Power Transmission Line and Substation Project have been selected by EEP as its key priority project to meet the growing demand in the area. It will address the need to transfer the energy generated to areas of residential consumption located in and around different woreda. The fundamental objective of this ESIA was to provide a means whereby the overall environmental performance of the project can be enhanced through identification of potentially beneficial and adverse impacts associated with project implementation and subsequent operation. It is also to adopt measures to enhance beneficial impacts and to avoid, minimize, or offset adverse impacts.
