Entrepreneurship in Restaurant Business

Restaurant business in Bangladesh has long history, but this sector is currently growing due to the rising market demand and growth. Many new restaurants are launched both at urban areas and country sides of Bangladesh at present, and doing the food business has become a recent trend among the entrepreneurs. Through this research project, entrepreneur¿s aspirations for doing the restaurant business in Bangladesh have been identified. At the same time, the major obstacles faced by the restaurateurs and the key success factors of restaurant business in Bangladesh have also been pin-pointed in this book. All of these issues are analyzed based upon the opinions and information provided by the interviewers (restaurateurs), Bangladesh Restaurant Owner¿s Association (BROA) and Bangladesh Beaurue of Statistics (BBS). Throughout this book, an overview of restaurant business in Bangladesh has been drawn with recommendations for further entrepreneurial development in this sector.
