Entrepreneurship Education at the New Upper School

The constant change of economic, political and socio-cultural conditions lead to various trends in the entrepreneurial world. The success of an economy depends on new and innovative enterprises that keep up the momentum of change and renewal in the market. However, it is not only demands on entrepreneurship that have changed in recent years. The prevailing current development currents in the economy, technology and society mean that businesses have changed, including higher demands on future skilled workers and managers. These influences are also reflected in developments in the education system. Internationally and at the national level, a broad-based economic (vocational) education has become increasingly important in recent years. The implementation of the New Upper Secondary School in general and VET schools and colleges has resulted in some significant changes for the Austrian school system.
