Entrepreneurship Development through Farmer Producers' Organization

The book content focused on concept, need and importance of farmer Producers' Organizations (FPO) in Indian agriculture, it covers services provided by FPO to the member farmers, forward and backward linkages developed for production and marketing of vegetables through FPO. An attempt was made to study the attitude of members towards FPO functioning as well as scale developed for measuring entrepreneurial behaviour of FPO members and constraints faced by members for effective functioning of FPOs. It will be a guideline for Ph. D. scholars as well as extension professionals/agencies to design training programmes for members farmers. The research findings of study will be helpful for policy makers to design and implement new policies, schemes so as make FPO as a economically sustainable business centres.
