Entrepreneurship as a Career Goal among Youth

After having more than twelve years of experience in conducting the technology transfer training programs for the grass-root level entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka, I understand that the youth are lack behind for selecting entrepreneurship as their career goal. Many countries around the world both developed and developing are trying to promote entrepreneurship in order to boost the rural economy. In Sri Lanka, however, there has been limited systematic attempt to look at it from the perspective of youth and their career goal. Therefore, this book is examined the entrepreneurship development policy and institutional support dimensions towards the entrepreneurial expectations of youth who have chosen entrepreneurship as their career goal.
