ENHANCEMENT IN DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS VIA POLYMERIC NANOFIBERS

Since past few decades nanomaterials have gained immense interest in research and other applications due to their unique chemical, mechanical, optical, magnetic, electrochemical, and engineered properties such as large surface area, high porosity, crystallinity, morphology and solubility, etc. Nanocomposites are usually multiphase materials with significant proportions of each phase where one of the phases has one, two or three dimensions of less than 100 nm.
