Enabling Rural Women through Information and Communication Technology

The communication and technology helps to transmit the information among the various section of people in the society. The ICT is capable of influencing the process of development in the society. significant to study the level of access to various Information and Communication Technology [ICT] in terms of use of Mobile Phone, Use of Television, Access to Radio and Access to Computer and Internet facilities in the different villages. This study is focused on how far the ICT tools are owned and used by Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes Women; to aspects on which the women are getting information or exchange information. Enhance the use of enabling technology, particularly Information and Communication Technology, to promote the women empowerment.
