The issues of creation of electronic systems of automatic control of fuel supply of internal combustion engines are considered. The concept of synthesis of the operation algorithm for the electronic diesel control unit, which is based on the method of analogy with the work of a mechanical all-mode regulator, is proposed. An important feature of the proposed algorithm is the independence of its performance from external factors, such as the type and quality of fuel, environmental conditions, technical condition of the engine, etc., and the selection of constant coefficients in the proposed equation allows you to easily synthesize the regulator to obtain any characteristics of the engine - from astatic to close to high-speed.
