Electronic and Mobile Business in Health Tourism

Health tourism supported by information and communications technology (ICT) and the integration of electronic and mobile business is a great potential for numerous health institutions in continental and Adriatic Croatia because it gives the option to prolong the tourist season on the entire year. We are able to offer great climate, quality accommodation capacity, specialized doctors trained in the leading world centers, quality medical infrastructure and significantly more affordable prices for medical treatments than in most competitive countries. This book is useful for all institutions which have capacity and options to focus part of their activities on international markets in the sense of attracting medical tourists. It is explained, in the simplest possible way, how to integrate certain sorts of electronic and mobile business into health institutions with minimal investments. Further development of computer science, but also the increased patient trust, will significantly increase the income for the entire health tourism sector of the Republic of Croatia. Expansion, advertising and communication principles explained in this book can be applied in all other parts of the world.
