Efficacy of pyrethroid combine with dimethoate against pest of soybean

The present investigation entitled ¿Efficacy of different pyrethroids alone and in combination with dimethoate against insect pests of soybean.¿ was conducted during Kharif season of 2011-2012 on field of Department of Entomology, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola.The experiment was planned in Randomized Block Design with twelve treatments replicated thrice. The twelve treatments used in present study were consisting of cypermethrin 25 EC @ 0.01%, deltamethrin 2.8 EC @ 0.0028%, fenvalerate 20 EC @ 0.01%, alpha cypermethrin 10 EC @ 0.003% , dimethoate 30 EC @ 0.045%, cypermethrin 25 EC @ 0.01% + dimethoate 30 EC @ 0.045%, deltamethrin 2.8 EC @ 0.0028% + dimethoate 30 EC @ 0.045%, fenvalerate 20 EC @ 0.01% + dimethoate 30 EC @ 0.045%, alpha cypermethrin 10 EC @ 0.003% + dimethoate 30 EC @ 0.045%, triazophos 35% + deltamethrin 1% (36% Ready mix formulation ) @ 0.09%, triazophos 40 EC @ 0.06% + deltamethrin 2.8 EC @ 0.0028% and (Untreated) control. The present investigation was undertaken to study the effect of synthetic pyrethroids in combination with dimethoate on the incidence of pest of soybean and in soybean crop.
