The present project was planned to evaluate the growth promotion efficacy of different commercially available feed additive antibiotics on the performance of broiler chicks under local environmental conditions. The performance of the birds was evaluated in terms of weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, mortality and carcass characteristics. The data on various parameters was subjected to statistical analysis using analysis of variance technique with Completely Randomized Design. Duncan''s Multiple Range test was applied to compare the treatment means.
