Effects of economic crisis and covid-19

The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of the economic crisis and covid-19 on the rice production system in the irrigated perimeters of the Bongor "B" case.Since the arrival of the economic and covid-19 crisis, the Chadian government has taken a number of corrective measures.In general, these measures have affected production factors, and in particular the rice production system in the irrigated perimeters of Bongor "B" bin.As a directly observable consequence, in recent years we have witnessed an increase in the cost of rice production per hectare, a drop in yield per hectare, and a deterioration in the socio-economic conditions of all those farmers who had made rice growing in casier "B" their main activity.
