Effects of different types of soccer balls on player performance in an indoor futsal environment

Bachelor Thesis from the year 2015 in the subject Health - Sport - Sports Equipment and Supplies, grade: A, Auckland University of Technology, course: Bachelor of Sport and Recreation, language: English, abstract: This thesis focus on the effects of three different types of soccer balls on a player in a indoor futsal environment. Its prime focus was on how players react to the touch of the ball and also what a player does before and after receiving the soccer ball. It focused on the movement on a player before receiving the ball and also what his movements were even without the ball.

Three different types of soccer ball were used, indoor futsal ball, indoor soccer ball (over-sized tennis ball), and the traditional outdoor soccer ball. The results and discussion are vastly addressed throughout the thesis, especially in the specific fields of result section.
