Effect of School and Non-school Factors on Performance in Schools

This book assesses the effect of school and non-school factors on performance in public primary schools. The findings in this book are useful to the Ministries of Education, Teachers Service Commission, policy makers and sponsors of primary school education in regard to performance and provision of quality education. The study¿s recommendations would lead to possible intervention measures being put in place to address school and non-school factors that influence performance in public primary schools. Further, the study might inform policy makers, development partners and civil society organizations regarding the formulation and designation of the most appropriate and relevant basic education policies and programmes in order to improve performance in public primary schools.
