Effect of intercroping on potyvirus and their aphid vectors control

This experiment was conducted on entity of`` The effect of intercropping of pepper with maize and sweet potato on infection of pepper by potyviruses and their aphid vectors in Mareko and Meskan, southern Ethiopia.` In Ethiopia Mareko and Meskan districts are one of the major pepper productive area but the production of pepper at the area declining in different reseason. As a result the researchers was identified the basic problem of pepper production at the area and found that potyvirus and aphid vectors are the major challenge of pepper production.Therefor, the researcher was conducted the experiment in collaboration to the local farmer found intercropping of pepper with maize is the best to control potyvirus and aphid vectors and to increase the pepper production at the location.Farmers were satisfied by the result and they are implementing the research result. Know pepper production is rising by using maize as intercropping.
