Application of agrochemicals and sewage sludge on agricultural land may accumulates trace minerals and heavy metals residues including potassium (K), phosphorous (P), nitrogen(N), zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and nickel (Ni) to soil-plants, grazing animals and humans through their food-chain process. These have been of great concern to human and animal health. Therefore, assessment of sites actually irrigated with waste water was carried out to determine the concentration of potassium (K), phosphorous (P), zinc (Zn) and cadmium (Cd) in and around the Faisalabad city.
