This is the age of power shift towards information. Information is power and computer can give lots of information and, therefore, computer has become powerful. It is useful in every walk of human life. Computer is now widely used in commerce, trade, industries, administration, etc. Computer services are now very common in research for data processing and instructional processes. Computer is one of the machines of automation in teaching learning process. It is known as electronic brain. Now days, there is vast explosion of population as well as information is occurring. So more advanced educational technology is needed. To overcome these problems, computer assisted instruction may be very useful. Twenty first century is going to be ¿e-century¿. Today there is continuous increase in number of e-teachers, e-tutors, e-journals, e-learners and so on. There is e-revolution in the world. Today, computer has proved to be the most potent media used multifariously by teachers as well as learners. It is taking over the world very swiftly. It is quite a jump from traditional technology ¿ reliance on text books to the computer use.
