Educational and linguistic therapies given to autistic children in Kenya

Autism has attracted a lot of attention in the recent past. I thank think the children who i worked with and they were an eye opener to me with regard to the importance of speech and communication. When deficient, it tears the world of autistic children apart and their parents become isolated. But with the various therapies that the linguists, teachers, caregivers and others who are entrusted with these children, life has become bearable. These children can communicate in their own ideosyncratic ways. This book gives insight into the problems these children experience at home and learning settings. It also gives insight into the various linguistic and educational therapies given to autistic children. These therapies immensely contribute to the children being able to take formal instructions, communicate with other children and later engage in activities that would enable them earn a living.
