Economic Bail out Plan: Mirage or Seduction

This book that I have the honor to write the foreword discusses issues related to the political, the social, and the economic environments of the CEMAC sub region. These issues includes, the re-adjustment of the CEMAC current currency parity, the adoption of measures to reverse the negative trends in the economy of the Sub-Region, the implementation of infrastructure to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the sub region population, the attachment to community solidarity in the face of current and future economic and security shocks, the engagement of BEAC in the adoption of measures to promote migration by financing capital markets. To the above, the book also develops strategies on how to strictly pursue budget adjustments needed to balance national public finances and the gradual restoration in the balance of the state budget to below 3% in less than 5 years. Other chapters discussed in the book deal with the problem of diversification of the economy by making it less vulnerable and competitive in the face of trade liberalization, the strengthening of international tax cooperation while combating fraud, tax evasion and optimization.
