Rice being one of the staple foods in major part of the world. Climate change induced impacts on rice will threat balance between supply and demand of it. Furthermore, it is anticipated that number of number of rice varieties will not tolerate climate change and may perish in due time course. In addition, nutrient content of rice is also anticipated to be reduced. Owing to all these aspects, the book shed light on ecology of the rice seed bank from the Chandrapur district of Central India. Rice is cultivated as a major crop and number of rice varieties is available. Thus, to protect and conserve these rice varieties in the form of a seed bank will help to fight against future course of food supply and demand and climate change induced other aspects.
