Earthworm Resources Waste Management Pharmacology and Organic Farming.

Vermibiotechnology is now being considered as an eco-friendly, user-friendly and cost-effective biotechnogical tool for the conversation of decomposable organic waste into valuable organic manure,ensuring pollution abatement and sustainability in agriculture.In this monograph,all of them from my research work for last 15 years, has been discussed on Earthworm population and their community structure from various agro eco-systems of Tamil Nadu,India, vermicomposting of various lignocellusoic waste using indigenous earthworms and microbial inoculants and production of quality vermifertilezier, growth and reproduction of earthworms, therapeutic value of earthworms, micro and macro nutrients,lignocellusoic complex and microbial-enzyme activity in the vermicompost and its application on crops.This book can be used as an UG and PG text/reference book in Zoology, Botony, Life Science, Envionmental Science,Agricultural and Engineering and also be useful to researches who are concerned with vermibiotechnology, solid waste management and pharmacology.
