Dr. Ramón Carrillo Hospital: "Radiography of a changing institution"

In a world situation of pandemic, where divergent ethical and moral matrixes of global scope have gained relevance, I believe that the present work can be constituted, spontaneously, as an attempt to stimulate the sustained and organic analysis of a false dichotomy that we could synthesize as: "Biomedicine" and "Alternative Practices". Hopefully, this research will inspire, even on a small scale, new and deeper approaches to this alleged dilemma represented by the inevitable and undeniable coexistence. This interaction that takes place in the scenario of the cloisters, hospital centers and mass media, could not be elucidated categorically and exclusively if it constitutes a confrontation or the mere complementation of two aspects of human knowledge, the coexistence of practices is a reality in our contexts and their articulation is a goal to be achieved for various health professionals.
