Document Management in University Archives

In this book, Cícero Filho Tavares enters the Document Management of University Archives, analysing with great scientific rigour and competence, in its different aspects. In writing, he addresses important points such as current archives, intermediate archives, permanent archives and the university archive, the object of study. It emphasises that even though there are archives in all universities, they still need to be more valued, as many do not even apply the TTD - Documentary Temporality Table, which is fundamental for the functioning of the archive. Simple changes in the archive, such as inserting the document in the correct place and discarding it at the correct time makes a difference, an organised archive is fundamental. Beyond an esteemed academic discourse, the concepts, ideas and values contained in this work are recommendations to contribute to the transfer of the archive to the new space.
