Distillary spentwash application in maize crop and groundwater impact

This work is related to effective utilization of distillary effluent in maize growth. disposal of affluent is a serious environmental problem world is facing,this work explains an eco friendly technique that is biomethnation by which we reduce amount of various parameters and make it useful for crops like maize and sugarcane.the biomathanation provides increase in nutrient like nitrogen and potassium which can be utilized as a substitute to various chemical fertilizers.after the application significant amount of nutrient was delivered by the PMDSW(post methanated distillery spentwash).groundwater monitoring also used with the help of piezometer to check leaching of nutrients in deep soil.decolourization of PMDSW was also carried out with various method and BOD reduction was observed after the treatment of spentwash.
