This book, Discourse on Mising and Karbi Folklore Genres, involves a critical investigation into the various folklore genres associated with two of the most culturally rich ethnic communities of Assam, i.e., the ¿Misings¿ (Miri) and the ¿Karbis¿ (Mikir) adopting a hermeneutic approach.
