DIRECTORS' POSITION IN COMPANY LAW: A STUDY OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

The concept of 'Corporate Governance' has evolved as a result of extensive discussions in this area. Corporate governance is a more muddled and complex subject to articulate. The notion, on the other hand, has a variety of meanings. To different people, the term corporate governance signified different things. Some people thought corporate governance was about leadership; others thought it was about the norm 'forced' by SEBI under the Listing Agreement; and still, others were honest enough to admit that business was all about money, power, and control. However, different definitions have been proposed to characterize the idea of corporate governance, ranging from company organizations to national and international committees. This book is a study of directors' position in a company with reference to corporate governance.
