Dinoflagellates and Raphidophytes as Feedstock for Biofuel Production

This book is based in the knowledge acquired by the Dr. Fuentes-Grünewald, who have more than 20 years of experience in microalgae identification, isolation and biomass production. The main objective is to give relevant information of how to produce microalgal biomass specifically from Dinoflagellates and Raphidophytes microalgal groups, taking into account specially in those potential environmental impacts. Currently Dr. Fuentes-Grünewald is focused in the production of specific metabolites generated by different microalgae. These metabolites are susceptible to be exploited in an industrial scale in order to produce advanced bio-products for different applications in industries such as bio-medicine, cosmetic, nutraceutical, animal feed, among others.
