Digital-Learning: Use of the Internet to Improve Student Performance

E-learning and teaching with the Internet is a widely established pedagogical tool. For over two decades, computer technology have been rapidly expanding phenomenon and it has become an integral part of everyday lives. Due to the ubiquity of such technology, it is an imperative that Internet training be mandated in every school. It is essential that schools integrate emerging technologies in teaching and learning. This book provides strategies to promote the use of the Internet as a tool for teaching and learning, by focusing o the professional development of teachers in using the Internet as a resource in their specific subject areas.
