Digital Ecosystem for public Enterprises:Prospects and challenges

The Ministry of Public Enterprises was established by His Excellency Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia in March 2015. The primary mandate of this Ministry is ¿to position Namibiäs key Public Enterprises (Public Enterprises), to play their meaningful role in the country¿s development agenda.¿ However, the MPE has been operating without an Electronic Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting System (EPMERS) Framework. For proper decision, making purposes, in the modern world, there needs to be adequate information in order to come up with informed decisions. Digital Ecosystems is a current terminology and its appearance is because of the usual reality of Business Ecosystem, alongside with the development of business system and Information technology. The main aim of Digital Ecosystems (DE) is to increase the effectiveness of the communication amongst in-house means and to validate the prevailing Business Ecosystem. Digital environments support the management of Public Enterprises with improved decision-making.
