The experimental material comprising of 10 parents and their 45 hybrids (excluding reciprocals) developed through diallel mating design, was grown in a randomized block design with three replications at Main Rice Research Centre, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat during Kharif 2015. The main objective of the experiment was to study heterosis, combining ability and nature of gene action for yield and its component traits under aerobic condition.
