The proposal was designed for undergraduate and graduate students. The proposal provides future Imaging Technologists with the technical work algorithm applicable to ultrasonographic procedures, with a complete description of the technique and an appropriate technological language for professionals to deepen their knowledge of the subject. The proposal also serves as a support material that provides scientificity in the application of the diagnostic method for obtaining images with optimal quality, and in turn enhances the role played by technologists in the quality of services provided to the population. The proposed text contains 16 chapters and a gallery of images that help the user to learn.
