Development of the child from the pediatric perspective

This book contains materials of selected author¿s lectures in propaedeutic pediatrics. Much attention is paid to age periodization and characteristics of the periods of childhood. The features of the neonatal period, physiological and transitional states of this period are considered in detail. The physical development of the child has certain patterns, and it is an important characteristic of the state of health, therefore it requires a careful assessment by pediatrician. The book describes methods for physical development assessing and its impairment in a number of diseases.
