Development of Organoselenium and Organotellurium Derivatives

In the first chapter of the book, general introduction of organoselenium and organotellurium derivatives along with recent development of organoselenium and organotellurium are described. In the second chapter of the book, purification of the common organic solvents, synthesis and characterization of a series of diaryl diselenides and diaryl ditellurides are described. In the third chapter of the book, the synthesis and characterization of a series of selenoethers are described. The fourth chapter of the book deals with the synthesis and characterization of cyclic and acyclic tellurium(IV) derivatives are described. Finally, In the fifth chapter, synthesis and single crystal x-ray studies a bis-2,4,6-trimethylphenyl ditelluride is described.
