Development of a Delegation Concept

A fundamental resource for the existence of any organisation is human capital. In order to create long term profitability, it is important to continuously train and develop individuals within an organisation. Training or development of individuals can be achieved by applying the concept of "delegation". This very concept is important to master in order to become a successful and legendary leader in any business set up. Two factors play a pivotal role in the developed delegation concept. Firstly, responses from a questionnaire survey from 70 entrepreneurs and managers in industry were analysed in order to get a realistic view point. Secondly, Chapter 6 highlights important and traditional management theories that are used as the foundation of the final developed delegation concept. The author concluded that anyone can master theory but not everyone can practice theory.
