Developing Critical Thinking Skills in Learners

The rate at which the world is developing technologically and the various challenges individuals face trying to keep up with the time demands possession of considerable level of critical thinking. The teacher has a lot of work to do in this wise as far as producing effective thinkers is required. The teacher can do this through the teaching strategies which can assist the learner adopt effective learning strategies. These cannot be done without some cognitive processing which leads to the development of critical thinking skills. A graduate who cannot think critically cannot do much for self talk less transforming the society for better living. Acquisition of critical thinking skills is very necessary for effective existence and the responsibility lies chiefly with the teacher.
